Their gigs are BIG SHOWS! In May 1996 Paul Robert Burton decided to form a band with one of its main goals being to reach an unprecedented musical freedom and creativity. With a history of over 10 years and 2500 shows,“The Shuffle” has grown into a veritable force of quality musicians. Best described as a highly eclectic, versatile band of world class musicians playing both cover and original material with passion and heart. In fact they even have a section in their live show that is truly unplugged. No amplification or microphones, just brilliant vocals and acoustic instruments. Their creative musicianship and repertoire incorporates elements of swing, 50’s jump, blues, rockabilly, jazz, Irish, rock ‘n’ roll, gypsy & gospel. All this under the motto ‘If we can make it shuffle – it’s ours!’ Hence, a lot of popular, classic and jazz standards have come alive again after “The Shuffle” have re-worked and stamped their own signature on them. Whether performing as a duo, trio, a five piece band with drums, or expanding to six people for larger events, “The Shuffle” continues to “Wow” audiences from all over Australia & Europe. People, no matter what their age, find themselves intoxicated with the irresistible sound of this great band. Their DVD is exceptional (and this writer's favourite) Ideal for festivals, quality pub and club gigs and concerts!

Described as having a voice like whisky, honey and cigarettes Cora blends Jazz, Blues, Soul, Rock and R&B into her own stylish & cool musical cocktail. Cora sings with a passion, interprets a song and makes it her own. They have an extensive repertoire Cora performs with duos through to a full band and tailors her performance to suit each individual venue. With John Hill on vocals/keys, and awesome Andy Thompson on saxophone. Cora and John have also done duo work as an extended world tour playing in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, London, England, Osaka, Japan, Colombo, Sri Lanka. Top class act!
